Fall Back
Turn back your clocks,
The news man said.
I stop and stare,
and shake my head.
That can’t be right.
It’s far too soon.
Seems yesterday
Was only June.
I’ll miss the warm
And lazy days.
The bright hot sun
And humid haze.
Goodbye Summer,
My special friend.
I wish our time
Would never end.
I’m looking forward to that extra hour of sleep. Cute poem. I like a change of seasons, but it sure did get cold fast.
