I have a ‘day job’ in the transportation industry.  Just For Fun, I started this list recently…

Trucking is a lot like Writing…..

• …you hope you get to your destination without any trouble. Sometimes it’s a long and winding road!
• …diversion is just part of the job.
• …there are a lot of unscheduled stops.
• …just because you have all the equipment and/or qualifications doesn’t mean you can do it.
• …a lot of strange things can happen before your final delivery.
• …if you had known about all the technical details, you might have chosen to do something else.
• …it’s full of interesting characters.
• …sometimes you end up in amazing places.
