Somehow, I missed it on my calendar…..last Saturday ( the 23rd) was National Dog Day!

And…you KNOW how I feel about dogs.

And…startling news yesterday on the web.  Did you know Hello Kitty is NOT a cat?  Nope.  The creators of the figure say she’s not and never has been.  She’s a little girl, with a sister and a mother and a father and her own pet cat. Hmmpfff…..Ears, whiskers, and no fingers.  And doesn’t she have stripes sometimes?   Go figure….
